Charlottesville is home to an
array of restaurants, sure to please all tastes. Many of these
restaurants are on the Downtown Mall.
While some offer billiards
and live entertainment, others entice tourists and locals with upscale
dining.
For a taste of student life,
stop by the shopping strip known as "The Corner" for some
college cuisine. Coffee shops, bars, and delis are well represented in
this dining area, but many places offer sit-down meals.
Many nationally known
fast-food chains reside in Charlottesville, especially on Emmet Street,
which serves as one of the main roads through the city.
For upscale appetites, local vineyards just outside the city offer tours
and wine tastings. Other upscale establishments are scattered throughout
the city.
